Writing For Comfort

As a self-publishing author I believe that it is great to write to publish. However, I also believe that it is great to write for comfort. Many times we may experience things and forget all about what had occurred. Those things may not have been that important to begin with, but on the other hand it may be memorable. Writing for comfort should take place in a quiet or pleasant environment of choice. No distractions or feeling uncomfortable should occur in the environment. Writing your thoughts and experiences on paper not only helps you to vent, it also helps to release the stressors and/or gain a better way to communicate with others. Writing for comfort can also improve mental health and reduce negative emotions.

So, get started by choosing a nice composition, diary, journal or notebook that may interest you, which motivates you to write often. Don't forget to get a good writing pen or pencil. ;-)
